NG instructed to make East Midlands Airport offices take flight

A prime office building at East Midlands Airport is set to come to market after NG Chartered Surveyors were instructed to market the premises.

NG won a competitive tender process to be appointed by Manchester Airports Group (MAG), owners of East Midlands Airport, to bring to market vacant space within the B100 building at 100 Beverley Road.

The project, headed by NG director Richard Sutton, will involve a full refurbishment of the space and the creation of a social hub within B100 to bring a sense of community to the revamped building.

Lease deals will be available on offices for 1 person through to 20 and will be available on 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 12 month and 3 year lease options – a structure designed to take account of the fluidity required by companies in the current market.

Richard Sutton said: “We couldn’t be happier to win the tender to market B100 – it’s a sign of our growing reputation in the wider East Midlands commercial property market – and we can’t wait to get started.

“NG and MAG Property recognised that trying to tie tenants in to onerous long-term leases simply isn’t the way forward. We intend to listen to prospective tenants, understanding their need and help them structure their way forward as residents of B100.”

Emily Speak, Asset Manager at MAG Property, said: “Our focus at MAG Property is on providing the right kind of property and location to businesses that can benefit from an airport location. East Midlands Airport is at the heart of one of the fastest growing employment zones in the region and, coupled with its role as global gateway, the airport site is a natural choice for successful companies across the East Midlands.”

Work to refurbish B100 are underway this summer and will be completed for occupation in December.

B100 is located on Beverley Road and forms part of the East Midlands Airport campus. East Midlands Airport is centrally located between Derby, Nottingham and Leicester and is approximately 2 miles from Junction 23 of the M1 motorway. In addition, the East Midlands Park Way Railway Station is located within 4 miles of the airport.
